Blew it

the last 2 days.  Oh well, you can't win all of the time.  And really, this week work is interfering.  I am so busy I can't think straight some times.

Oh yeah, and hubby is gone for 12 days hunting.  He left yesterday.  VACATION!  (for me)

In lieu of....

Gotta love Alternative Work Schedules.  I work a 4-5-9 work schedule and last Friday, Veteran's Day, was my scheduled Friday off.  Ooops, can't take an off day on a holiday, so I get to pick any other day during that 2 week pay period to make up my day off.  Of course, I'm going to pick a Monday after a 3 day weekend.

Sorry state of football

Well, it is for Penn State.  I'm extremely tired of hearing about Mr. Paterno's firing.  I have mixed emotions on whether or not he should have been allowed to finish the season.  I understand from a victim's point of view, it was probably wayyyyyyy overdue and didn't come soon enough.  But the facts are what they are and I also have to think about the kids on that football team that now are left behind.

I don't know.  I do know, I sure wouldn't want to be in that situation.  Happy Valley isn't so happy.
